When you enter the store, you need to start with a big bowl and clip, and choose your favorite vegetables, meat, noodles, and other food in the freezer, and the price is based on the total weight of the food you take. Then you can choose from soup base or dry mix at the cashier, and after the food is cooked you can add more of your favorite seasonings yourself at the spice station.
I chose the dry mix flavor and added my peanut butter, pepper oil and spicy oil. The flavor was very, very tasty! I also recommend the milk tea, it's very flavorful!- Service

Very delicious and authentic Malatang! I like going there because the ingredients are always fresh, the service is quick and the staff is friendly :3 The prices are also reasonable and you get a lot of food for the price. My favourite restaurant in Mannheim ❤️

The staff has kindly explained how we could make our own soup and also stated that I had picked out too much toppings. If I couldn't eat it all there is also an option for take away, but the food was soo good, the apice level was perfect and the bone broth was delicious, I didn't have to pack the leftovers up. Staff was lovely and very nice.

Small but efficient spot with delicious food! I got the bone broth medium spice and it was perfect. The mushroom broth, which my husband got, was just ok, watery tasting. I wish the veggies were fresher and the meat wasn’t pre marinated but overall great!!

This spot is a total gem! clean, which is always a win, but what really blew me away was how legit the flavors are. This is the real deal, not some fake stuff pumped with flavor enhancers. You can tell they know what they’re doing—everything tastes just like it should. If you’re craving authentic Mala Tang, this is the place to hit up.

I ordered the original soup one and it tastes super nice! The price is very reasonable. My order is only 10.35. The staffs are very kind and take good care of all customers. When the sesame beans sauce is run out, they refill it immediately. The only con is that the seat is very limited.

You get to select your broth of choice (several flavors, I chose a bone broth) as well as spice level. I chose the spiciest level which was extremely delicious and pleasant. A warm black milk tea was the perfect drink to pair with the hotpot.
It's such a treat to have such an authentic Chinese meal in Mannheim and perfect for the cold winter months!

I've been disappointed with a lot of "authentic" Chinese food in the area so when we saw Mala Haus, I didn't really have the highest of expectations. But my god, every thing was turned upside down the moment I saw the hotpot options. Aside from the regular meat and fish, it had Viel stomach, beef tendons, fish tofu/balls/sticks, wide variety of mushrooms, veggies, root crops and noodles. I was extremely surprised!!!
The soup, omg the bone soup!!!! We got there when it was raining so the warmth and spice really filled us with feelings of Cozy ♥️ What an amazing experience. I FINALLY FOUND THE AUTHENTIC CHINESE FLAVORS I'VE BEEN CRAVING! If we were not just visiting the area we'd come back for more, but I know that the place will still be there when we get back because of how amazing and delicious it is.
